Dance at a Dance!

Well, Halloween has gone by and I have tons to tell you.
Like some schools (not all) we had a dance on October 31st. And I was so excited because I myself love school dances. In my previous school we had such FUN at dances that I never wanted them to end! My friends and I would dance totally insane and we didn't care...I mean you know the saying, "Dance like no one is watching"? Well, it was very similliar.
So anyways, I was very excited about this one especially because I was going with Cameron. I hadn't danced with him yet and I wanted to see what it was like. After everyone had come in, I danced with some of my friends not knowing where Cameron was but then after about 4 songs...I finally found him! And, he was just standing around talking to his friends.
When I saw him, I quickly rushed to him and grabbed his hand saying, "Come on," then pulled him towards the dance floor. I asked him if he wanted to dance and he just shook his head and said, "I can't dance." After my begging and pleading he still said the same thing and I kept telling him that he can dance but he still didn't listen to me and just kept saying the thing over and over again.
After, my friend Lacey quickly jumped into our conversation and said, "You're such a jerk Cameron. If you can't dance then why did you even bother asking Vanessa?" When I heard her say that I was in such shock that I pushed her aside and moved somewhere else with Cameron. But while I was, I started to realize that she was right, he shouldn't have asked me to a DANCE where he wasn't even going to DANCE.
Oh well...it turned out that I didn't convince him enough to do it and I was kinda upset. But then, later on, he told me that he was very sorry and he promised me that he would dance at the next Dance...and I will take his word for it...if not....then I dunno...we'll see.
